It doesn’t cost the earth to make a world of difference.

The services provided by Rainbow Place make a huge difference in the lives of the children, young people and their families. However, we couldn’t do it without the incredible help of our very generous supporters.  Every contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated and never goes un-noticed.  They do make a difference.

Special Thanks To . . .

Hospice Waikato Community Trust

Without Hospice Waikato there would be no Rainbow Place.  As our 'umbrella' organisation they have generously supported the growth and development of Rainbow Place services over the past ten years. As part of the Hospice Waikato organisation, we also benefit from generous funding and support from the Gallagher Trust.  Thank you!

Waikato District Health Board

Rainbow Place is very grateful for a strong working relationship with the Waikato DHB.  They have a close interest in what we do and their financial assistance is a very important resource for us.  Big thanks to the Waikato DHB.

Waikato Rugby Union

The Waikato ITM rugby team have chosen Rainbow Place as their special charity for many years.. They support our events and the players enjoy visiting and meeting the children and young people both here at Rainbow Place and the Waikato Stadium.   They are heroes on and off the field and make a big difference to our families as role models to children and young people going through 'tough stuff'.

Skylight

Rainbow Place is thrilled to have a memorandum of understanding with this amazing New Zealand organisation.  This national organisation, based in Wellington, provide tools and resources for helping children, young people and their families move forward through change, loss, trauma and grief - whatever the cause.

Supporters and Volunteers – beyond 'price'

As well as financial assistance we also rely on a dedicated group of volunteers.  These people help us in so many ways, from being the welcoming face at Rainbow Place, administrative support, to assisting with activities for our clients.  They pick up the slack, keep things moving and help us keep focused on providing the best care and support possible.  They're priceless!

We’ve also received donations of time, money and all sorts of resources from individuals, businesses, community groups, and other organisations.  Our grateful thanks to them all.

If you’re thinking about making a gift or donation of any kind, or if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer with Rainbow Place please get in touch with our Manager Penny Parsons.  We’d love to hear to hear from you.
